Rabindra Jayanti 2026: Jorasanko Thakurbari to Host Special Tribute Event with Creative Dance Performances

Kolkata, May 7, 2026 – In a heartfelt tribute to Asia’s first Nobel laureate, the Bongiya Kala Parishad is set to organize a special Rabindra Jayanti celebration at the historic Jorasanko Thakurbari – the ancestral home of Rabindranath Tagore.
The event, titled “Kobiguru Leho Pranam,” will take place on Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Rathindra Mancha within the Thakurbari premises. Organizers confirmed that the program will feature creative dance performances themed around Tagore’s works and philosophy.
